  • Reducing Social and Economic Inequality

At TMCI, we recognize that poverty, displacement, and limited access to opportunities deepen vulnerability—particularly for children born with correctable conditions such as cleft lip, clubfoot, and knock knees. These inequalities often prevent families from accessing timely health care, education, and livelihood opportunities.

    To address these gaps, we:

    • Empower women and widows through small-scale business support, seed funding, and financial literacy guidance to strengthen household incomes and improve family stability.
    • Promote youth economic independence by providing vocational skills training such as tailoring and entrepreneurship support to refugee and host-community youth.
    • Support access to essential services including health care, education, and nutrition for vulnerable children, ensuring they are not left behind due to poverty or displacement.
    • Strengthen parental and caregiver capacity through awareness, counseling, and community engagement programs that promote child protection and positive parenting.
    • Advocate for equitable access to corrective surgeries and medical care, ensuring children born with treatable conditions are not disadvantaged by their socio-economic status.

Through these integrated interventions, TMCI works toward building resilient families, empowered women, and self-sustaining youth—contributing to a more inclusive and equitable society where every child has the opportunity to thrive
